Original 11 inch x 14 inch Still of ANNE BANCROFT & JACK CLAYTON preparing a scene for the 1964 Jack Clayton Drama THE PUMPKIN EATER, based on the novel by Penelope Mortimer and scripted by Harold Pinter.

Bancroft gets into the voice and under the skin of the well-to-do Englishwoman who leaves her second husband for screenwriter Peter Finch. But Finch is unfaithful and Bancroft has a breakdown after her eighth child is born.

The still is in very good condition.
