Original 1982 Re-Release Italian 39 inch x 55 inch 2 Fogli Poster for the 1981 Steven Spielberg Adventure RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman, Ronald Lacey, John Rhys-Davies, Denholm Elliott, Alfred Molina and Anthony Higgins.

Spielberg’s spiffing blockbuster with Harrison swashing a brilliant buckle as Indiana Jones, archaeologist and hunter of lost treasures, sent to find the Hebrews’ Ark before the Nazis get to it. A spectacular, expensive version of the cheapo Saturday morning serials, and it works so well because everybody’s enthusiasm and sense of fun hides all the painstakingly hard work.

Poster art by Drew Struzan. Struzan is an American artist, illustrator, and cover designer known for his more than 150 movie posters. He was born in Oregon in 1947 and in 1965 studied at the Art Centre College of Design, then in West Los Angeles, California.

The poster is in fine folded condition.
