43 Original 12 inch x 9 3/8 inch Stills for the 1971 Andrei Tarkovsky Sci-Fi Mystery SOLARIS, based on the novel by Stanislaw Lem and starring Donatas Banionis, Natalya Bondarchuk, Jüri Järvet, Anatoliy Solonitsyn, Nikolay Grinko, Vladislav Dvorzhetsky, Georgiy Teykh, Sos Sargsyan, Olga Barnet and Tamara Ogorodnikova.

A psychologist is sent to a station orbiting a distant planet in order to observe and treat the station’s crew, who have fallen into unexplained mental and emotional disorder. However he experiences the same strange phenomena that afflict the Solaris crew, sending him on a voyage into the darkest recesses of his consciousness.
