A humorous tale of Argentinians in France addressing crises of national identity, nostalgia and subsistence, Their solution is to stage a tango ballet inspired by Carlos Gardel, a legendary Argentinian tango star. A film bursting with South American verve and joviality, tempered by the sadness of exile.

Poster art by Michel Berberian. Born in 1949 into a family of artists and antique dealers. At the end of his studies he opened his own design studio, working as a poster designer for the theatre, and the cinema, producing works for Jean-Luc Godard, Carlos Sauras, Bertrand Tavernier and James Ivory
