Original 1950 British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1949 Lee Sholem Adventure TARZAN’S MAGIC FOUNTAIN, based upon the characters created by Edgar Rice Burroughs and starring Lex Barker, Brenda Joyce, Albert Dekker, Evelyn Ankers and Charles Drake.
An expedition tries to enlist Tarzan’s help in finding the secret Blue Valley, which legend says is the location of a miraculous fountain of youth.
On the reverse is the Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1950 Arthur Lubin Comedy FRANCIS, based on the novel by David Stern and starring Donald O’Connor, Patricia Medina, Zasu Pitts, Ray Collins, John McIntire and Francis the talking mule.
During World War II, a junior American Army officer, Lt. Peter Stirling, gets sent to the psychiatric ward whenever he insists that an Army mule named Francis speaks to him.
