Original British 20 inch x 30 inch Double Crown Poster for the 1976 Zsolt Kezdi-Kovacs Hungarian Drama WHEN JOSEPH RETURNS (HA MEGJON JOZSEF) starring Lili Monori, György Pogány, Éva Ruttkai, Gábor Koncz and Mária Ronyecz.
An unsentimental Hungarian film about the edgy relationship between a middle-aged woman and her young, restless daughter-in-law when the son-husband goes to sea for six months.
Designed and produced by X 3 Posters – Bob Linney & Ken Meharg. Bob Linney and Ken Meharg originally had studios at the Arts Lab in Birmingham (an experimental arts centre in Birmingham), then at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London, then at their workshop at Butler’s Wharf, London (as X3 Posters) and then at their studio in Shoreditch, London (X3).
