Original 1929 British 17 1/2 inch x 12 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1928 Karel Lamac German Comedy YOUTH (DER ERSTE Kuß [THE FIRST KISS]) starring Anny Ondra, Eugen Burg, Viola Garden, Hilde Jennings and Werner Pittschau.
On the reverse is the 1928 Frank Borzage Comedy THE RIVER starring Charles Farrell, Mary Duncan, Ivan Linow, Margaret Mann, Alfred Sabato and Bert Woodruff.
Passion carried an innocent boy and a worldly woman beyond the barriers of conscience.

Hinchliffe was born in Perth, Scotland. In 1953 he had a studio in Chalk Farm, North London, where he produced a series of six oil paintings as publicity for 20th Century Fox’s “The Robe”. He had been engaged by Fox in 1926 and produced posters and ads continuously for them, and for Disney, well into the 1960s.
The Advertisement is in very good condition with a vertical centre fold with 4 staple holes along it.
