Stiff-lipped sterling account of life at sea, in which Lieven’s German battleship menaces a British convoy coming back from Norway. Pen Tennyson had joined the navy as a lieutenant at the age of 23 and was about to take charge of the Admiralty’s Educational Film Unit. On 7 July 1941 he was flying from Shetland to the naval base at Rosyth in a small Fleet Air Arm plane when it crashed, killing all those on board.
The pressbook has 8 illustrated pages and is in very good condition with conservation tape along the spine.
