Two half-length women, both looking at the inside of a cup which the older woman has raised in her hands, while sitting at table, in an arch.
Engraved by Charles William Sharpe (1818 – 1899).
From a painting by Nicholas Joseph Crowley (1813 – 1857). An Irish genre and portrait painter. He was highly esteemed as a portrait painter, and was especially good in painting portrait groups.
