Original French 45 inch x 62 inch Poster for the 1964 Luis Buñuel Drama DIARY OF A CHAMBERMAID (LE JOURNAL D’UNE FEMME DE CHAMBRE), based on the novel by Octave Mirbeau and starring Jeanne Moreau, Michel Piccoli, Georges Géret, Françoise Lugagne, Daniel Ivernel, Jean Ozenne, Gilberte Géniat, Bernard Musson, Jean-Claude Carrière, Muni and Claude Jaeger.
The film stars Jeanne Moreau as a chambermaid who uses her feminine charms to control and advance her situation, in a social setting of corruption, violence, sexual obsession and perversion.
