Original German 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1957 Wolfgang Staudte Drama ROSE BERND, based on the play by Gerhart Hauptmann and starring Maria Schell, Raf Vallone, Käthe Gold, Leopold Biberti, Hannes Messemer, Arthur Wiesner and Krista Keller.

In this drama, set in Germany after WWII, a peasant finds herself in love with three men. Trouble ensues when she discovers that she is pregnant. When the father spurns the poor girl, she heads for the wilderness. She bears the child out of doors and tragedy ensues.
