Original Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1979 Andrzej Wajda Drama ROUGH TREATMENT (BEZ ZNIECZULENIA) starring Zbigniew Zapasiewicz, Ewa Dalkowska, Andrzej Seweryn, Krystyna Janda and Emilia Krakowska.
Rough Treatment is about the political persecution of a distinguished journalist, based on Ryszard Kapuscinski.
Poster art by Waldemar Swierzy (1931 – 2013). Born in Katowice, Poland, Swierzy graduated from the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. He was subsequently Professor in the University of Fine Arts in Poznan from 1965 and Professor in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1994. Swierzy is one of the Polish School of Posters’ most prolific artists, having created over 2500 posters.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
